FWIW I’m no expert: Even the whole system of assigning the WCS and flipping the part around I sometimes stumble a bit with, especially for lathe parts where it may look right but actually your viewing angle is 90 degrees to the right if viewed from the face and that shows up when you try to give it a stock size.
